Master Class: On the Path to Becoming a Congruent Human Being

In scripting this Master Class, I asked myself this question, “If I had to summarize all of my spiritual work into one elegant theme – one portal through which the best of each of my core teachings could line up in absolute precision – what would that one rich teaching be?”

Oddly enough it did not take all that long for me to make my decision. Through the course of my work I have been asked countless times about the purpose of life and I have tried out many different answers through the years, some more effective than others. Eventually I realized that the spiritual path is really very simple: the challenge facing each of us is to become a truly congruent human being. It takes a lifetime (or maybe thousands of them) to accomplish the illuminated status of becoming a congruent soul, but the goal we are after, regardless of all the words we use, is that we are seeking exactly that - inner congruence.

As simple as that goal is to articulate, there is nothing simple or easy about becoming a congruent human being. Yet, accomplishing inner congruence is the jewel around which spins all the other goals we associate with the reasons we pursue a spiritual path. You cannot be truly healthy if you are out of alignment; you cannot be truly honest with yourself or others if your head and heart exist as two separate forces within you; you cannot ever know what the fulfilled life is about if you are always compromising your intuition and inner guidance for fear of the consequences; you can never consider yourself a truly honest person if you live a life of continual compromise and self-betrayal. Nor can you fully heal when you fear truth and honesty.

What would we imagine the congruent human being to be like?

Your sense of self-esteem is rooted in personal integrity, transcendent of the need to prove self-worth; Intuitive guidance works in harmony and not in opposition to intellectual and emotional resources; You are someone highly attuned and respectful of the energetic feedback constantly being channeled through your biological channels. You recognize and respond to the loss of power in your energy field; You engage with the field of your life on multiple levels, acknowledging the lines of creation in continual operation between the physical and mystical realms. You are able to discern archetypal influences, whether in ordinary or extraordinary circumstances, and continually refer to the symbolic realm as the greater tapestry of creation; An awareness of the partnership of physical laws and mystical laws is a given. Both systems of law govern life as we know it; Physical laws govern physical life and mystical laws govern the soul’s journey. The connecting bridge is mystical consciousness; You seek truth rather than fear it. From this flows all else.

Through the years of studying Energy Anatomy, Anatomy of the Spirit, Entering the Castle, and finally, Defy Gravity, I mapped out a continual sequence of the sacred alignment of the seven centers of power that form the spheres of consciousness within the human soul. Whether I was studying our energetic anatomy system or the seven mansions of our soul as described by Teresa of Avila or the relationship between our seven shadow passions and our seven mystical graces – the common golden thread was that this mystical knowledge, no matter what form it took, inevitable led the spiritual pilgrim to become a fully aware, fully whole, fully congruent. So attuned are we to this need to be congruent that we can seek this harmonious resonance in every relationship we have and even in every room we walk into. We immediately sense when we are “out of alignment” with someone or something or some place. Congruence is second nature to us because it is indeed our spiritual comfort zone.

In this Master Class, my focus is on but one goal: Becoming a Congruent Human Being. What does this require? How would that change your life? What are the spiritual strategies you have to commit to stay on this path?

This class will be limited in size, intense and is meant to be a life changing experience. The class will build upon my teachings from Anatomy of the Spirit through Entering the Castle and Defy Gravity as well as Sacred Contracts. The class will include small group work as well as healing sessions. All students will have time to engage with Caroline.
